YES. When teaching children, I love to encourage and influence children of all ages into the love and interest of music and singing. I believe singing is a brilliant confidence booster and can give the child a deeper knowledge into music. If the parent would like to sit in on singing lessons, you are more than welcome. Also, I have a full CRB check.
I have a range of song material, covering all styles, genres and artists and you can select anything you would like to sing. You are also more than welcome to bring songs from home to come and sing during out lessons - it is really up to you. I teach students that are passionate about all different styles of music, from pop to R'n'B, from rock to musical theatre as well as everything in between. Whatever your style of music I will teach you to sing through learning the songs that you love.
I teach the majority of my lessons from a dedicated teaching studio located in 327A Hedon Road, where I have a relaxing studio room perfect for learning to sing within. The room has all the equipment we need, including a piano which I use to warm the students vocal cords up and accompany students while singing. Yes. Group lessons are an amazing way of learning all about harmony's and are also a great excuse to meet and mix with new people or see old friends.
If you are under 18 I will need your parent's permission to start lessons. I am happy to talk to parents over the phone or they can come and talk to me in person at your first lesson.

It can be a little daunting to come and sing for the first time, however, my friendly and relaxed singing lessons will put you completely easy. Within 5 minutes of your lesson, you will have completely forgotten your nerves and will have started enjoying singing in front of someone for the first time.
Absolutely, it is a common myth that great singers are born but this is completely untrue. Singing is certainly a skill that is mastered through practice. Indeed, everyone has the capability to learn to sing and developing their voice over time.

That is no problem at all, simply notify me 48 hours before the lesson and I will be more than happy to rearrange. Please note the Singing Lessons Hull operates a 48-hour cancellation policy, whereby if you cancel within 48 hours of your lesson you will be charged the full lesson fee.
